What we collect, and why

Visiting the site. This is a static site. It sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or tracking. When you open a page, the hosting provider records technical data in its server logs: your IP address, the time, the page requested, and the browser and operating system used. This is needed to deliver the pages, keep the site secure and diagnose faults. The logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider, then deleted.

Fonts and other files. Fonts, images and scripts are served from this site itself. Your browser does not contact any third-party server to display a page.

Writing to us. If you email us, we keep your name, email address and the content of your message in order to answer you and follow up on your request. We keep the exchange for as long as we work on it, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business correspondence.

LinkedIn. The footer links to our LinkedIn page. Nothing is sent to LinkedIn until you follow the link; LinkedIn's privacy policy applies there.

Who sees the data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers that serve this site and handle our email. Where a provider is outside Switzerland, we transfer data only to countries with adequate data protection, or with safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to info@dxan.dev. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR or UK GDPR may give you the same rights.

Changes

We update this notice when the site or our processing changes. The date at the top says when.
